Hasbro Studios, the Los Angeles-based production and distribution division of Hasbro, Inc, has sealed a deal to supply five of their new animated kids’ series based on their popular franchises to ATV’s new Turkish kids network, Minika.
The Hasbro-produced series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, The Adventures of Chuck and Friends and Pound Puppies will be joined by the older-skewing G.I. Joe Renegades and Transformers Prime on the new network starting this fall.
“Hasbro has a fantastic section of programming, including a large number of globaly recognized, hugely successful franchises, which fit perfectly into our schedule,” said Minika’s Mahmut Ipsirli. “As a new channel building our own brand, it is vital that we partner with the leading content distributors as we develop and grow. I am looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Hasbro Studios.”
