‘Simpsons,’ ‘Futurama,’ Ben 10 Get WGA Noms

The Simpsons, Futurama and Ben 10 have received nominations for Best Animated Show from the Writers Guild of America (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE). The winners will be honored at the 2012 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York. The honorees are:

  • “Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts” (The Simpsons), Written by Tim Long; Fox

  • “The Blue and the Gray” (The Simpsons), Written by Rob LaZebnik; Fox

  • “Donnie Fatso” (The Simpsons), Written by Chris Cluess; Fox
