Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, the latest chapter in DreamWorks Animation’s fairytale-land franchise, is pouncing to streaming tomorrow (Friday, January 6) on Vudu, Fandango’s premium on-demand video service. The film debuted in theaters on December 21 and has been purring along nicely at the box office over the holiday season, powered by positive reviews.
Directed by Joel Crawford (The Croods: A New Age) and featuring the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Harvey Guillén, Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, John Mulaney and Wagner Moura, the film picks up with the kitty cavalier at the end of his nine lives. Together with Kitty Softpaws and a new canine friend, with storybook crime bosses hot on their tails, Puss embarks on a grand quest to find a magical Wishing Star and reset his mortal clock.
Fans can order The Last Wish for $29.99 or opt for the two-movie Puss in Boots collection, which includes the original 2011 spinoff movie, for $39.99. Shrek-heads who really want to indulge can opt for a special Shrek 6-Movie Collection offer (all four Shrek movies and both Puss in Boots titles) for $69.99.
