Teaser: A New Generation of Heroes Comes Out of Their Shells in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’!

Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Pictures today unveiled the best thing to come out of a New York City sewer in a hot minute: The official teaser trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem! The spot introduces a stunning new illustrative CG look for the herpetological heroes, their friends and foes, and offers a sneak peek at the comic-book-inspired action and comedic camaraderie fans can look forward to when the film drops August 4.

Synopsis: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

As announced during the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2023 this weekend, the voice cast features Micah Abbey (Donatello), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), Hannibal Buress (Genghis Frog), Rose Byrne (Leatherhead), Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), John Cena (Rocksteady), Jackie Chan (Splinter), Ice Cube (Superfly), Natasia Demetriou (Wingnut), Ayo Edebiri (April O’Neil), Giancarlo Esposito (Baxter Stockman), Post Malone (Ray Fillet), Brady Noon (Raphael), Seth Rogen (Bebop), Paul Rudd (Mondo Gecko) and Maya Rudolph (Cynthia Utrom).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies present a Point Grey production in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The animated feature is directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) and co-directed by Kyler Spears, based on the characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman.

The film is produced by “permanent teenager” Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weavers, executive produced by Ramsay McBean and Josh Fagan. Animation studios Mikros Animation and Cinesite worked with Paramount/Nickelodeon and PGP to deliver Mutant Mayhem‘s distinctive animation.
