The super popular reptilian teens of comic-dom are ready for their next big-screen refresh! Today, fans got to come out of the sewers of ignorance and into the thick of the action in the new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies present the Point Grey production in theaters on August 2.
The spot shows off more of our heroes’ distinct personalities, while adding rat dad Shredder, human ally April, a genetically radical rogues gallery of antisocial mutants and, of course, more of the stylish, illustrative CG animation crafted for the pic.
Synopsis: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, Mutant Mayhem is directed by Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. The Machine), co-directed by Kyler Spears and written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg & Jeff Rowe and Dan Hernandez & Benji Samit.
