Trailer: ‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ Sets Netflix Debut for Jan. 3

Wallace & Gromit Vengeance Most Fowl [Aardman c/o Netflix]

Cracking news for Aardman animation fans: The acclaimed U.K. studio’s latest stop-motion feature Wallace & Gromit Vengeance Most Fowl will make its global streaming debut on Netflix on January 3, 2025 (excluding the U.K. and Ireland, distributed by BBC). The streamer today revealed the official teaser trailer and new key art for this inventive romp, which pits our plasticine heroes against a feathered foe from the past…

Ahead of the streaming debut, Vengeance Most Fowl will hold its World Premiere at AFI FEST on October 27, and will have a limited Oscar-qualifying run later this year.

Synopsis: Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!

The voice cast features Ben Whitehead, reprising the role of Wallace, Peter Kay as Chief Inspector Albert Mackintosh (seen as a constable in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit), Lauren Patel (Lloyd of the Flies, Everybody’s Talking about Jamie), Reece Shearsmith (Inside No. 9) as Norbot the “smart gnome,” Diane Morgan (Cunk on Earth), Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton), Muzz Khan (Brassic) and British Comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement honoree Lenny Henry.

Aardman’s four-time Academy Award-winning director Nick Park and Emmy Award-nominated Merlin Crossingham helm this caper, which is based on a screenplay by Mark Burton from an original story by Park and Burton. Richard Beek produces.
