Billed as ‘poultry that packs a punch,’ the Aardman/Decode CG-animated series Chop Socky Chooks will be released on a two-disc DVD set on October 6. This Fox Home Ent. release will feature 13 episodes that originally aired in the U.S. on Cartoon Network last year.
Chop Socky Chooks Volume One centers on a crack team of kung-fu chickens who battle their evil arch-nemesis, Dr. Wasabi’a mutant piranha’and attempt to foil his diabolical plots to become a one-man global superpower. Whether they’re fighting against bonsai shrink rays or deadly karaoke zombies, The Chop Socky Chooks (philosophical Chuckie Chan, streetwise KO Joe and enigmatic Chick P) always maintain their action hero cool. Chop Socky Chooks Volume One will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.98.
