The Foundation, U.K. production company Zodiak Kids and Korea-based animation studio High1 Entertainment have announced they will begin development on a three-project slate of kids’ animated TV and digital content. The deal covers projects for preschool and tween audiences, with co-development to kick off immediately.
The Foundation is already in co-production with High1 for the global Nickelodeon production Quick, Quack, Duck!, a 3D animated pre-k series. The new projects will join this 52 x 11 show set to air on Nick Jr. Channels worldwide, including the U.S.
“We are excited that this deal has been agreed with The Foundation & Zodiak Kids, it will strengthen our long-term partnership as we continue to share global projects,” says High1 head of animation & GM Jerry Jung. “High1 Entertainment will also invest, develop and service the innovative digital assets that will form part of these 360 degree properties.”
Zodiak Kids retains worldwide rights.
