Producer-distributor DQ Entertainment has announced a slew of new licensing and merchandising partners for its CG reimagining of classic adventure property The Jungle Book. The most high-profile deals were signed by DQE’s partner in North America, Australia and South Africa, SMC Entertainment Group, in collaboration home video distribution licensee Phase4 Films, which has launched Jungle Book DVDs in Wal-mart stores across the U.S. with a Canadian launch coming soon.
Recently, DQE and SMC cinched a deal with Burger King Worldwide for a promotion kicking off this June. Other key new deals include:

(inflatable toys/bath toys, roto molded toys; U.S., S.A., Aus.), Norton Anti-Virus (promotional tie-in, U.S.), Air Transat (in-flight entertainment, U.S. & Can.), Budge Studios (apps for iOS & Android), Mandodari (DVD partworks, Italy), and Compupress (DVD partworks, Greece & Cyprus).
