Universal Studios Hollywood and professional baseball organization the L.A. Dodgers have teamed up to offer kids a chance to strap into the new Simpsons Ride at the Universal theme park. Running all season long, the promotion kicks off on Monday, May 19 when Homer Simpson himself throws out the first pitch at the L.A. Dodgers vs. the Cincinnati Reds game.
When a Dodger hits a homerun during the 5th inning of any Dodgers home game this season, attendees will receive one free child’s ticket with one paid adult ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood. Tickets are redeemable through Oct. 31 by bringing in and surrendering the Dodger game ticket stub to a Universal Studios ticket booth. The offer cannot be combined with any other offer or separately ticketed event, and both the adult and child must be present at time of redemption.
The Simpsons Ride was designed in collaboration with The Simpsons creators, exec producer Matt Groening, exec producer James L. Brooks and exec producer Al Jean. The first mega-attraction based on the hit FOX TV series plants guests right in the middle of a brand-new Simpsons adventure with original animation featuring the voices of cast members Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria and Kelsey Grammer.
