South African indie Triggerfish Studios (Zambezia) is gearing up for the U.S. release of its second feature outing, Khumba, which will arrive in theaters and On Demand on February 11, 2014 thanks to Millennium Entertainment. Directed by Anthony Silverston, the CG-animated flick stars Jake T. Austin, Liam Neeson, Steve Buscemi, AnnaSophia Robb and Laurence Fishburne and tells a modern legend about a half-striped zebra who goes on a daring quest to find a magic watering hole after his superstitious herd rejects him, meeting lots of unique animal friends (and foes) along the way.
