Bully! on the Dot for PBS KIDS

Baltimore-based animation and game design company Bully! Ent. has made PBS KIDS a little more animated by completing three spots for Dot’s Story Factory, a new viewer-generated content feature. The ‘donut’ opens feature the Dot character seen in various print and online materials as she invites viewer to take a look at recent drawings submitted to pbskids.org.

The opens are set in various household rooms and use a computer, a television and a printer to present kid-created drawings that fill in the middle of each spot. The closers return to Dot, who places the dot in the pbskids.org web address and encourages viewers to visit the site.

Dot’s Story Factory offers both on-air and on-line components and is designed as an age-appropriate narrative tool that supports the development of creative skills. The feature launched with the second season of PBS KIDS with Miss Lori and Hooper, which kicked off on Sept. 3. The preschool programming block features such animated favorites as Curious George, Super Why!, Dragon Tales and Clifford The Big Red Dog.
