Exodus Film Group’s CG fantasy adventure Hero of Color City will be returning to theaters to celebrate National Crayon Day — taking place March 31 this year. The charitable special day is driven by non-profit The Crayon Collection, in partnership with the National Head Start Association and the producers of Hero of Color City.
Head Start runs over 19,000 classrooms nationwide enrolling more than one million vulnerable 3 and 4-year olds who are in need of crayons and other school supplies. Working with local theater managers, owners and chain operators, the organization will collect donations of boxes of crayons presented as the price of admission to special screenings of Hero of Color City running through the weekend of March 28.
