The official trailer for the new limited holiday family release Elliot: The Littlest Reindeer has arrived, introducing the plucky miniature horse who dreams of pulling Santa’s sleigh to moviegoers. The pic features the voices of Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games franchise), Samantha Bee (Full Frontal), Martin Short (SNL, Father of the Bride), Morena Baccarin (Homeland), Jeff Dunham (The Nut Job) and John Cleese (Monty Python, A Fish Called Wanda, Shrek), and is directed by Jennifer Westcott (Locked in a Garage Band).
When one of Santa’s reindeer suddenly announces his retirement, he needs to find a replacement fast! Against all odds, Elliot the miniature horse and his best friend Hazel the goat set out to prove that he has what it takes. As Elliot and Hazel tackle the North Pole reindeer tryouts, Hazel learns that Christmas as we know it may be headed for disaster. Meanwhile, back at the farm, a potential new owner has plans that threaten the lives of their friends. Elliot is faced with the biggest decision of his life: save his friends or follow his dreams and save Christmas. Maybe he doesn’t have to choose — after all, big dreamers dream big!
Screen Media will present Elliot: The Littlest Reindeer in more than 100 cinemas across the U.S. for a one-day-only matinee event on December 1.
