Fans of the Sentai’s popular anime series Revue Starlight will be able to catch the feature Revue Starlight: The Movie in select U.S. theaters for two days on June 5 and 6th.
Directed by Tomohiro Furukawa, the feature picks up soon after the popular series left off and opens the curtain on a new, original story set during Karen Aijo and Hikari Kagura’s third year at Seisho Music Academy. As the synopsis explains, “In the next chapter of their theatrical lives, the young heroines will face one another on the battlefield of the stage, where song, dance and thrilling swordplay collide to illustrate the rich emotional narratives of the film’s protagonists.”
