Warner Home Video today released the first-ever Halloween DVD title from Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network Halloween: 9 Creepy Cartoon Capers features nine episodes from such original Cartoon Network shows as The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter’s Laboratory, I Am Weasel, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow & Chicken and Ed, Edd ’n’ Eddy.
The episodes featured on this compilation include “Boogie Frights” from The Powerpuff Girls, , "Bravo-Dooby-Doo" from Johnny Bravo, “Picture Day” from Dexter’s Laboratory, “I.M. Vampire” from I Am Weasel, “The Demon in the Mattress” and "Courage Meets Bigfoot” from Courage the Cowardly Dog, “Cow With Four Eyes” from Cow & Chicken, “Dawn of the Eds” from Ed, Edd ’n’ Eddy and "Billy and Mandy’s Jacked Up Halloween" from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
The Johnny Bravo episode incorporates another Hanna-Barbara favorite as the muscle-bound egomaniac enlists the help of Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang to find his missing aunt.
Cartoon Network Halloween: 9 Creepy Cartoon Capers runs 107 minutes and lists for $14.97 on DVD.
Also arriving on home video today is Paramount Home Entertainment’s Blue’s Clues: Blue’s Room–Snack Time Playdate, featuring four episodes from the animated/puppet Nick Jr. series. "Blue’s Wishes," "Café Blue" "The Grow Show" are included, along with a Blue’s Snacktime Playdate game, a Nick Jr. Baby Video Sneak Peek and five Blue’s Room spots. The release runs 101 minutes and lists for $16.99 on DVD.
