This winter, the artistic conjurers and technical magicians of Disney swept audiences back to Arendelle in the exciting, tender and box-office enchanting sequel Frozen II. Now, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna’s new adventure is ready to come home on Digital 4K Ultra HD, HD and Movies Anywhere on February 11, and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on February 25 — augmented with a sing-along version, deleted scenes and songs, and intriguing featurettes on the making of the movie.
To celebrate the home release, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is giving Animation Magazine readers a sneak peek at one of these very cool BTS dives, The Spirits of Frozen II. In the clip below, find out how the filmmakers, artists and animators gave “Gale” the Wind Spirit — a largely invisible character — a powerful, playful onscreen presence. The clip features director Chris Buck, director/screenwriter Jennifer Lee, and voice stars Kristen Bell (Anna) and Evan Rachel Wood (Iduna).
