Directed by Academy Award nominee Hiromasa Yonebayashi (When Marnie Was There), the 2D animated movie follows Mary: an ordinary young girl stuck in the country with her Great-Aunt Charlotte who makes the extraordinary discovery of an old broomstick and a strange flower which blooms only once every seven years. She is suddenly whisked away to Endor College, a school of magic run by Madam Mumblechook and the brilliant Doctor Dee — but all is not as it seems, and when Mary tells a lie, she must risk her life to set things right.

Based on Mary Stewart’s 1971 children’s book The Little Broomstick. The English dub features the voices of Ruby Barnhill and Academy Award-winners Kate Winslet and Jim Broadbent.
