Prolific Russian-born animator, character designer and director who worked on numerous TV series for Nickelodeon, Disney, Brown Bag, Sony and Universal. Received two Daytime Emmy nominations for working on Klasky Csupo’s Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (1995) and for directing the Curious George series (2014). Among his other credits Edith Anne, Santo Bugito, Duckman, Rocket Power, Rugrats, All Grown Up!, The Rugrats Movie, Sheriff Callie’s Wild West, Doc McSuffins, DreamWorks’ Dragons, Peter Rabbit, Masha and the Bear, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Mission Force One. Died Dec. 19, age 62.
