George Newall

Co-creator of the iconic educational cartoon series Schoolhouse Rock (1973-1984), along with fellow ad exec David McCall. Newall and Tom Yohe exec produced and creative directed every episode of the show, which informed young viewers about a range of topics using catchy tunes like “I’m Just a Bill” and “Conjunction Junction.” Died Nov. 30, age 88 (cardiopulmonary arrest).
