New COO Joins Atomic Cartoons Nuclear Family

Edward Peghin has been appointed chief operating officer for Atomic Cartoons, the animation house that created the cult web series Dog In a Box with 2 Wheels and the TV show Atomic Betty, which has been picked up by TELETOON Canada and Cartoon Network in the U.K and Asia. In his new position, Peghin will oversee production and legal matters, human resources and marketing/sales initiatives.

An experienced producer/director and entertainment attorney, Peghin has a background in children’s and primetime television programming and feature films.

Founded by Rob Davies, Mauro Casalese, Trevor Bentley and Olaf Miller, Atomic Cartoons celebrates its fifth anniversary this year. In addition to creating original properties, the company has provided production and animation services to Warner Bros., Disney, Nelvana, Film Roman and Cartoon Network.
