Jam Filled Entertainment, a Boat Rocker company, is once again calling on diverse animation students from six leading Canadian post-secondary institutions, to apply for its scholarship program. The Jam Filled Diversity in Animation Scholarship Program provides financial support and mentorship opportunities to promising second-year animation students.
Four individual scholarships will be available to students who identify as diverse and are entering the second year of an animation program at Algonquin College, Sheridan College, Seneca College, Nova Scotia Community College, Centennial College and NSCAD University. Each scholarship is valued at $3,000 CAD per academic year and is renewable until the bachelor’s degree or diploma is obtained.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to submit an online application now by visiting jamfilled.com/news. The application and all supporting documents must be submitted no later than 1 p.m. ET on June 30, 2022.

Eligible applicants must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time student in an Animation Program at one of the six eligible institutions
- Have successfully completed the first year of studies with intention of entering the second year
- Be in good academic standing over the last two terms of available marks, · Identify as diverse (special focus on ethno-racial and indigenous identities, gender and sexual identities, place of origin, age and ability)
The program is open to the first 100 submitted applications.
