During the series panel at New York Comic Con Friday, Netflix announced it has re-upped its new hit fantasy toon The Dragon Prince for a second season. Created by Wonderstorm studio founders Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond as well as executive producer Giancarlo Volpe, the ambitious 2D animated series premiered Sept. 14 with nine episodes; S2 will premiere in 2019.
The Dragon Prince has already developed a devoted fan base, garnering kudos for its diverse cast of characters and achieving a 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was also the #1 TV Fandom on Tumblr for the week ending Sept. 24. Watch it on Netflix.
