Excusive Clip: ‘Big Nate’s Mobile Mortification on Paramount+!

The perils of the digital age catch up to the kids of P.S. 38 (along with plenty of other troubles) in nine new episodes of Big Nate launching this week. Set to premiere Friday, August 19 on Paramount+, the latest misadventures of author Lincoln Peirce’s beloved misfit will see Nate pursuing his singing dreams, saveing a pregnant lizard and taking spring break to the next level.

Ahead of the batch release, check out the exclusive clip from Episode 9, “Best Laid Cell Plans”! When Francis gets an emergency cell phone, the gang makes major plans for it. But even the best laid cell plans can go wrong. What ensues is a viral video, an investigation, an unlikely duo and the strangest tea party ever…

In addition to this week’s drop, Big Nate’s fans can also look forward to Season 2, launching in 2023 with a padded order of 20 episodes, recently announced.

Big Nate follows the riotous exploits of Nate Wright (voiced by Ben Giroux), a sixth-grade kid who has a never-ending need to prove his awesomeness to the world. Whether he’s dealing with disasters at home or detention at school, Nate is no stranger to a challenge. Luckily, he’s able to express himself through the world of cartoons that he creates. Charming, mischievous and a magnet for misadventure, Nate always finds a way to turn trouble into fun.
