Adrianna "AJ" Cohen

EVP, Global Head of Production - Mikros Animation

Adrianna "AJ" Cohen brings over 35 years of experience in the entertainment industry and holds a BFA in Film & Television from UCLA's prestigious film school. She began her career in sound effects and picture editing for television and film, before transitioning into production, where she rose to the role of producer. Her indie film Mindwalk (1990) garnered acclaim at major festivals, including Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, and Venice. She also produced award-winning projects such as Citizen X, Spawn, and Mile High Club.

In 1995, Adrianna joined New Line Cinema as Vice President of Production, overseeing more than 16 successful films, including iconic titles like Austin Powers and Rush Hour. In 2001, she was recruited by McKinsey & Company to revamp their communication processes, demonstrating her expertise in production and management. During this time, she also co-founded the non-profit organization Funding Knowledge, which provides financial support to help high school students pursue higher education.

Returning to filmmaking in 2018, Adrianna joined Fox Animation/Blue Sky Studios as Senior Vice President, where she led production efforts, advancing technology and refining processes. She placed a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, implementing community outreach and educational programs. Since 2021, Adrianna has served as EVP, Global Head of Production at Mikros Animation, where she leverages her extensive industry knowledge to consult on expansion plans and episodic series + feature production for animation facilities worldwide.
