Elizabeth Taylor

Vice President of Development, Television, Disney Branded Television

Elizabeth Waybright Taylor is vice president of Development, Television Animation, at Disney Branded Television, a division of Disney Entertainment Television. This division creates premium original content that brings the magic of Disney to life for kids and families on Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior.

In her role, Taylor oversees the creative development of animated content for kids and families. From taking ideas through pitch and pilot delivery, she collaborates closely with show creators to build worlds, develop stories, establish designs, and finalize music, casting, and animation in preparation for series consideration.

As Director and later Executive Director of Development, Taylor has guided numerous projects, including the acclaimed cartoon shorts “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,” the Emmy-nominated series Kiff and Amphibia, the recently released Primos and Zombies: The Re-Animated Series, and the upcoming StuGo.

Taylor began her career in 2004 at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio, working in production, and later pursued a brief stint outside the entertainment industry as an independent event planner.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys overpriced coffee, ballet class, sci-fi movies, children’s books, Beethoven, Picasso, Agatha Christie novels, and, most of all, spending time with her husband and partner-in-crime. She jokes that her famous name is his fault, but she decided he was worth it.

A native of Syracuse, New York, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from Emerson College.
