John Andrews has had a 30-year career as an animation producer and executive. In the 1990’s he was VP of Animation at MTV where he oversaw series Beavis & Butt-Head, Daria, Aeon Flux, and MTV’s Oddities (The Maxx & The Head) and was a consultant on animation anthologies Liquid Television and Cartoon Sushi. For the first full decade of this century he was Senior VP/Executive Producer at Klasky Csupo and has since produced projects for several other LA studios. He currently teaches a course in animation producing at Chapman University’s Dodge School of Film and Digital Media and one in career development in USC’s Expanded Animation graduate program. In addition since 2007 he has been the co-founder and co-director of the annual Los Angeles Animation Festival.
