Raymond S. Persi, a Thai-Italian Californian native, is a director with a career spanning major studios, including Illumination Entertainment, 20th Century Studios, and Disney Feature Animation. He won an Emmy for directing The Simpsons and directed several award-winning Peanuts specials for Apple TV+, including the Annie Award-winning Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie. At Disney, Raymond contributed as a story artist to the Oscar-winning films Frozen and Feast, as well as Wreck-It Ralph. He also directed and produced the acclaimed independent short Ghost of Stephen Foster and co-directed the animated feature Extinct. In addition to his directing work, Raymond is a notable voice actor, best known for voicing Flash the sloth in Zootopia.
