Stephanie Simpson is the Emmy, BAFTA and Annie-Award winning Executive Producer of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation preschool series Mighty Monsterwheelies that will debut on Netflix October 14, 2024. The series taps into the Universal Monsters vault featuring classic characters as half-monster, half-truck heroes that team up to serve and protect the all-vehicle city of MotorVania from troublemakers like Phantom Freeze and Invisible Van.
Previously Simpson has served as writer, producer and creator of kids entertainment for all age groups. She was the Head Writer and Executive Producer on the award winning Netflix series, Hilda as well as the Head Writer on The Octonauts, which she also developed for television.
Her additional credits include Netflix’s Octonauts: Above and Beyond and the PBS Kids series Arthur, Postcards from Buster, and Wishbone, among others.
Simpson is a graduate of Yale university, where she pursued a double major in theater studies and Russian.
