Starting with the original Teen Titans for Cartoon Network, Rob has been head writer and story editor on an impressive list of award-winning animated series including Legion of Super Heroes, Storm Hawks, Generator Rex, Slugterra and Thunderbirds are Go.  

As a series creator, you can find Rob’s Abby Hatcher, Fuzzly Catcher on Netflix, and as Writer and Executive Producer is a three-time Daytime Emmy nominee for Best Animated Children’s Program with Niko and the Sword of Light (Amazon Prime Video) – winning this category in 2016.

Rob currently serves as Executive Producer and Head Writer for the Peabody and Emmy Award winning Apple TV+ series Stillwater, which he adapted from the Caledcott honored “Zen Shorts” books by Jon J Muth. 

Most recently Rob adapted Arnold Lobel’s beloved “Frog and Toad” books for the small screen, serving as Executive Producer and Head Writer.

Before finding his calling in the world of animation, Rob held several positions in both series and longform development, was a story analyst for Miramax Films and Sony Pictures, took a brief detour acting in TV commercials and earned an MFA from The UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television’s Independent Producer’s Program.   He was born in Huntington Beach, California and grew up in Richardson, Texas.
