Adrianna Cohen
Adrianna ‘AJ’ Cohen, with 35+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, holds a
BFA in film & television from UCLA’s prestigious film school. She began her career in
sound FX/picture editing for TV and features before transitioning into production and
rising to the role of producer. Her Indie film, “Mindwalk” (1990), received accolades at
Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Venice, and other festivals. Notably, she produced award-
winning projects like “Citizen X,” “Spawn,” and “Mile High Club.”
In 1995, she moved to New Line Cinema as Vice President of Production, overseeing 16+
successful productions, including “Austin Powers” and “Rush Hour.” Adrianna was also
sought after by McKinsey & Company in 2001 to revamp the firm’s communication
processes, showcasing her skills in production and management. During this tenure, she
co-founded the non-profit Funding Knowledge, aiming to provide alternative funding
sources for high school students to pursue higher education.
Returning to filmmaking in 2018, she joined Fox Animation/Blue Sky Studios as Senior
Vice President, leading production and spearheading state-of-the-art advancements and
flexible processes. Adrianna prioritized diversity and inclusion, implementing
community relations and educational programs. Before her current role as SVP, Global
Head of Production at Mikros Animation since 2021, she consulted for animation
facilities across major international cities, providing her expertise in expansion plans and
episodic series production.
