Frank Saperstein

Frank Saperstein

Frank oversees all aspects of Surprise Bag’s producing and consulting business, including IP incubation, financing, distribution, co-production partnerships and production for live action and animated media. He is currently Executive Producer of the animated pre-school series, Sweet Tweets airing on Knowledge Network and AVOD, and co-creator and EP of the live action tween dramedy, Kick Flip which is in development with CBC. Frank recently penned his first novel, “Victor and The Infinite & Mysterious Hallway of Loos” with writing partner, Rita Street for Green Kid’s Club Publishing. The middle grade book is in development with Mexico’s Anima Estudios, with Saperstein and Steet serving as writing EP Showrunners. Saperstein recently served as EP for NBC/Universal’s primetime animated sitcom, The Pole featuring the voices of SNL’s Colin Jost and Bobby Moynihan airing on Syfy and Peacock.

Mr. Saperstein consults as an industry expert for law firms, venture capital, private equity, banks, non-profits and governmental agencies on the analysis, analytics and evaluation of brands, corporate assets, and industry trends for mergers, acquisitions, investment and dispute resolution.

Frank previously served as President of British Columbia based animation studio, Yeti Farm Creative, providing production services for clients including Disney, SONY, Amazon Prime, Nickelodeon, and Sega. He previously served as EVP at Tricon Film’s & Television, SVP of Family Television for Entertainment One building the Peppa Pig franchise, and Co-CEO/Creative Director of PASI (Philippine Animation Studio, Inc.). He has also been a Development Executive with VH1/MTV Networks. Frank’s early credits include gender-bending classics Pee-wee’s Playhouse, (CBS), Bob & Margaret (Comedy Central) and EMMY nominated Ren & Stimpy, (Nickelodeon), as well as a stint as Producer/Director with Prince’s Paisley Park Studios. He holds an MFA from New York University Tish School of The Arts where he won a Ten Best Student Oscar and several other awards and accolades.
