Mike Rauch is the co-creator of the Peabody Award-winning animated shorts series StoryCorps which also earned a total of four Emmy nominations and two Annie Award nominations (Best Animated Special Production and Best Animated Short Subject). He previously spent five years as a Series Executive at Cartoon Network covering shows such as The Powerpuff Girls, Apple & Onion, and Victor and Valentino, as well as recently consulting on development and production of Cartoon Network Latin America’s new lucha libre series Rey Mysterio vs. The Darkness. Prior to that, Rauch formed and ran Rauch Bros Animation for nine years with clients including Nickelodeon, Warner Bros. Animation, Sesame Workshop, and the Olympic Channel.
Now the Head of Original Animation at BUCK, Mike Rauch’s move to the cutting-edge animation studio was covered by Animation Magazine, Deadline and Animation World Network, among others. Rauch brings a unique perspective into the executive leadership role having gotten his start producing indie shorts and co-creating a shorts series. He’s able to put himself in the shoes of creators and showrunners, having done several of the creative jobs from pre-production through post.
