Richard Frankie
As a senior media executive with emphasis in television, Richard brings more than 30 years of experience in all facets of television production, distribution, and advertiser sales across all types of programs for both traditional and non-traditional distribution platforms to oversee all business aspects for the studio including finance, HR, legal, business affairs, operations and labor relations.
Richard is currently the exec VP of business operations at Trustbridge Entertainment, a children and family content company formed in 2016 by Trustbridge Partners, where he is responsible for all facets of the business of television, film and digital content. TGM has acquired and expanded a portfolio of celebrated children’s publishing houses, including Candlewick Press, Holiday House, Peachtree Publishing, Pixel + Ink and Walker Books with a focus on bringing the highest quality content to global audiences through multiple platforms. Titles include Alex Rider, Because of Winn-Dixie, Judy Moody, Maisy Mouse and Where’s Waldo?
Prior to that, Richard was exec VP, head of business operations at STX Television, exec VP of TV business management at Legendary TV and Digital Media and COO for Gaumont International Television. His prior experience includes over 20 years with Sony Pictures Television, where he served as exec VP, business operations for the group. Richard is a graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where he earned his MBA and California State University at Northridge, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in television management and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
