Sarah Finn is executive director, Production, Disney Television Animation. In this role, which she has held since 2018. Finn oversees production across all of Disney Junior’s original animated television series including “Fancy Nancy,” “Elena of Avalor” and “Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures.” She reports to Lisa Salamone Smith, senior vice president, Production, Disney Television Animation.
Prior to joining Disney Television Animation, Finn has worked for various divisions within Disney Interactive developing and producing entertainment to support the online game Club Penguin, Disney Junior’s “Muppet Babies” series and “The Legend of the Three Caballeros,” as well as several AR and VR short-form projects. She joined Disney in 2013.
Finn previously served as vice president, Development and Production for American Greetings, where she oversaw the relaunch of “Strawberry Shortcake” and “Care Bears.” Prior to that she held the position of vice president, Animation Production at Sony Pictures Television, where she managed the production of series and movies including “The Boondocks,” “Dragon Tales,” “The Spectacular Spider-Man”, “Stuart Little 3” and “Dilbert” and “Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles.”
Finn is also the creator of PBS Sprout’s “Chloe’s Closet,” inspired by the birth of her first daughter. The series aired from 2010-2017 in the U.S. and in major territories around the world, and continues to air on several streaming platforms.
A graduate of University of Exeter with a BA Honors in American and Commonwealth Arts, Finn currently resides in Woodland Hills, CA with her two teenage daughters, Carys and Chloe.
