It’s a new year, and 2018 is finally getting into the groove with the Netflix streaming debut of Trolls: The Beat Goes On this Friday, January 19. Produced by DreamWorks Animation Television, the 2D spin-off series brings back Poppy, Branch, King Peppy, Smidge and the rest of the gang for immersive, hand-drawn 2D animated adventures full of musical and visual delights for all ages.
One of six new DreamWorks Animation series coming to Netflix this year, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! launches with six half-hour episodes. Executive produced by Matthew Beans (Robot Chicken), the series features Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect 1 and 2) and Amanda Leighton (This Is Us, The Fosters) as the voices of Branch and Poppy, with Ron Funches, Gary Cole and David Koechner. Plus, original songs written and produced by Alana Da Fonseca (Pitch Perfect 3).
