The first images of the character called “Player” from the upcoming animated Netflix Original Series Carmen Sandiego, premiering January 18. The character, who appears to be a young, tech-savvy sleuth, is voiced by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard.
Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) voices Carmen Sandiego, a master thief out to snag the world’s greatest treasures with help of her criminal crew.
The series is based on the property first popularized in the 1985 educational computer game Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?, which spawned multiple titles, an animated series (1994-99) and a live-action kids’ quiz show.
