‘Mofy’ Season 2 Launches, Season 3 on the Way

Following the successful launch of the first 26-episode season, Italy’s Rai Fiction and partners Sony Creative Products, ZDF Enterprises and Florence-based Misseri Studio have launched the second season of Mofy during a special presentation in Rome. Originated by the female character designed by Japanese illustrator Aki Kondo, the preschool series is made entirely in Italy at Misseri, which uses an original stop-motion cotton animation technique.

Season 2 will comprise 78 five-minute episodes and continue to follow the adventures of Mofy, a bunny who lives in a puffy cotton ball. Together with her best friend Kerry, a rog who wants to be a great composer, she travels through wonderful cotton landscapes learning about managing feelings and acquiring self-confidence along the way.

Mofy airs in Italy exclusively on RAI YOYO, as well as on the state broadcasters of the coproducing companies: NHK (Japan) and ZDF (Germany). The show has also been acquired by other networks, including France Televisions. Sony Creative Products and Rai Com handle L&M for the show, with Giochi Preziosi as Master Toy Licensee.
