Corus Entertainment’s TELETOON network has commissioned a third 26 x 30 season of animated kids’ comedy Rocket Monkeys from Breakthrough Entertainment. The announcement at MIPCOM comes as the Canadian channel prepares to kick off season two on November 5 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Produced by Breakthrough in association with TELETOON and animation studio Atomic Cartoons, Rocket Monkeys follows the space faring adventures of monkeynaut brothers Gus (voiced by Sean Cullen) and Wally (Mark Edwards), who are inexplicably charged with haphazardly carrying out all kinds of important missions — and cause plenty of intergalactic chaos along the way. With the help of their devoted but somewhat outdated robot YAY-OK (David Berni) they somehow manage to save the day.
Breakthrough is handling distribution of the series and can be found at MIPCOM stand P1:A0.
