Sales rep SC Films International has announced that CG animated epic White Fang will have its world premiere screening at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival (Jan. 18-28 in Park City, UT). Utilizing motion-capture technology, the $20 million project is an ambitious retelling of Jack London’s famous novel.
Featuring the voices of Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Eddie Spears and Paul Giamatti, White Fang is “a thrilling tale of kindness, survival and the twin majesties of the animal kingdom and mankind” which follows the heroic wolf-dog White Fang as his curiosity leads him on the adventure of a lifeteime.
The film is directed by Alexandre Espigares, who won an Oscar for Best Animated Short for Mr. Hublot in 2014; screenwriters are Dominique Monfery, Philippe Lioret and Serge Frydman; producers are Jeremie Fajner, Clement Calvet, Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub. White Fang is produced by Superprod (Song of the Sea), Big Beach (Little Miss Sunshine) and Bidibul Productions (9).
