Eleven Arts World Premiering ‘Laws of the Universe’ Sequel in NorAm

ELEVEN ARTS Anime Studio will be distributing the new sci-fi/action anime feature The Laws of the Universe – Part 1 — a sequel to The Laws of the Universe – Part 0 — in the US and Canada. The Los Angeles-based company will present a Simultaneous World Premiere with Japan on October 12, with an English audio dub (cast TBA).

Directed by Isamu Imakake (animator, Neon Genesis Evangelion; chief director, Captain Tsubasa) and based on an original story by exec producer Ryuho Okawa, the film delves into the birth of the Earth, the secret of humankind’s creation and battles with aliens, and the revelation of “the God of the Earth.”

Synopsis: University students, Ray (voiced originally by Ryota Osaka), Anna (Asami Seto), Tyler (Tetsuya Kakihara), Halle (Hisako Kanemoto) and Eisuke (Wataru Hatano) are enjoying college life and pursuing their dreams, but they have a secret mission: to fight against invading Reptilians from outer space. One day, Ray travels back in time to 330 million years ago on Earth, to find his missing friend Tyler who has fallen into a trap set by the evil alien, Dahar (Ayumu Murase). During that time, Alpha (Yuichiro Umehara), the God of the Earth, was planning to create a new civilization on Earth and invited Queen Zamza (Yoshiko Sengen) and her fellow Reptilians from the planet Zeta, to Earth.

The Laws of the Universe – Part 1 is produced by HS Pictures Studio in Tokyo (established in 2009 as SH STUDIO).
