An edgy new adult-targeted 2D animated Netflix Original Series is coming to streaming next month, reimagining the hormonal horrors of puberty into actual monsters interacting with unwitting tweens. The not-for-kids comedy, titled Big Mouth, debuts Friday, September 29.
Produced by Netflix with animation by Titmouse, Big Mouth comes from the minds of TV comedy veterans (and real life best friends) Nick Kroll (Kroll Show, The League) and Andrew Goldberg (Family Guy), who are creators and executive producers along with screenwriter-directors Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett.
Comedian John Mulaney stars as the voice of Andrew, with Kroll filling multiple roles including Andrew’s best friend, Nick. The pedigreed voice cast also features Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein.
