A new docuseries about basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal has opened a public call for animated shorts! The contest invites fans to flex their creativity by downloading one of Shaq’s craziest stories from his life on and off the court, and set the narration to original animation. These “ShaqToons” will then have a chance to air on television as part of TNT’s upcoming series, Shaq Life.
The deadline to submit ShaqToons is Friday, September 20. More information available online.
Shaq Life will offer viewers unprecedented access to the day-to-day of what goes into the business of being Shaquille O’Neal. Fans can come along for the ride as the literal entertainment giant zips from a DJ gig in Las Vegas to the NBA Awards Show, from Big Chicken Shaq to a TV commercial shoot, and even amid the waves as he dons is “Chief Fun Officer” cap for Carnival Cruise Ship.
