New ‘Piece By Piece’ Trailer Clicks Everything into Place for Pharrell’s Life in LEGO

This Friday (October 11), moviegoers will be able to experience a unique animated vision in Piece By Piece, the new feature film from Academy Award winner Morgan Neville which re-envisions the life and career of music icon Pharrell Williams in colorful LEGO-inspired CG.

Ahead of its theatrical debut, Focus Features has debuted a new trailer as well as sneak peek clips from the film, which has ridden a wave of enthusiastic critical reviews following its TIFF world premiere.

Synopsis: Piece By Piece is a unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams. Told through the lens of LEGO animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music’s most innovative minds.

Shot in live-action and then re-created in animation, the film features LEGO-fied versions of Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg.
