We are thrilled to announce that the fantastic team at Snipple Animation has won our 25th Anniversary Issue ad contest. Their colorful ad generated the most audience response online! (They should be commended for spreading the word and launching a nice grassroots campaign to get lots of votes for their entry!)
Snipple is a studio based in the U.K. with a 3D studio in India and a 2D studio in the Philippines. They offer 3D, CGI and 2D (traditional and digital) animation for featurs films, TV shows and commercials. The studio is also developing its our own slate of film & TV concepts and are open to co-production deals. Their 2D pipeline is based on Toonboom Harmony, while the 3D pipeline is built around Autodesk Maya. They also produce animation in Flash and Toonz. We’d also like to commend the brilliant artists at Marathon Media and The Riki Group who entered two very creative and attention-grabbing ads. They took time to design a special ad that specifically celebrated our milestone event, using their own colorful characters and properties. Also, we are very grateful to all the community-minded animation and vfx folks who participated in our contest and to all the companies who have supported us throughout our 25-year history.
