Animago Announces 2015 Nominees

An independent jury of experts have made their final selections for nominees in the 2015 Animago Award competition. A pool of 1,008 international submissions from digital artists in 58 countries have been narrowed down to the five best examples in each of nine award categories. The winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place on the evening of October 15 during the Animago event (Oct. 15-16) in the Metropolis Hall at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam, Germany.

“The talent and creativity of the submitted works never fails to impress us each year,” said jury chairman Gunter Hagedorn. “We are especially proud of the sheer diversity we see in terms of style, genre and visual expression, which is definitely owed to the international nature of the competition and thus also reflects the culture of these globally operating artists.”
