- MAXON (booth 715, maxon.net) has announced plans for SIGGRAPH 2015 which include live demonstrations of Cinema 4D by leading 3D artists representing feature and indie filmmaking, visual effects and motion graphics projects. Attendees can also stop by Side Effects’ booth (901) for a demo on the Houdini Engine Plugin for C4D.And, the company will be streaming from its booth for those unable to attend at C4DLive.com.
- Chaos Group (booth 807, siggraph2015.chaosgroup.com) will host a “VR Bar”, exploring new applications for V-Ray’s advanced virtual reality tools and featuring installations from Steelblue, Nurulize and Legend3D, giving attendees the chance to immerse themselves in architectural and film projects for Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard. The V-Ray Days will return with presentation by Method Studios, Legend3D, Ruairi Robinson and Kevin Margo. Guest speakers from Google Cloud and Autodesk will visit the booth. Plus first-looks at upcoming products and showcases of recent additions.
- KOCCA (booth 827) is presenting the latest in “Culture Technologies and Solutions” under the name of Korea CT (Culture Technology) at its regional pavilion. The organization is hosting seven Korean companies which will show off their unique products: AIARA, Wspaceinfo, FXGear, Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Sungkyunkwan University, VFlap Inc. and Wormhole (C2Monster Co., Ltd.)
