Focus Debuts ‘Boxtrolls: Nature of Creation’ Featurette

When so much work goes into a film, you better make the most of showing it off with behind-the-scenes footage! In that vein, Focus Features presents the latest special featurette for LAIKA’s upcoming stop-motion adventure The Boxtrolls (out September 26), “The Nature of Creation.”

Based on Alan Snow’s Here Be Monsters! and directed by Graham Annable and Anthony Stacchi, The Boxtrolls centers on a boy named Eggs who is raised by misunderstood Boxtrolls under the streets of hoighty-toighty Cheesebridge. When the upstart exterminator Archibald Snatcher hatches a plan to eliminate the trolls and boost his own standing in the town, Eggs must confront the surface world in order to save his adoptive family.

Look for our feature story on The Boxtrolls in the October issue of Animation Magazine.
