Financial changes continue in the gaming industry, as Midway Games files for Chapter 11.
Midway Games, makers of the Mortal Combat franchise, made the filing because it doubted its ability to meet buyback requirements related to a change in ownership late last year, Variety reports.
The filing only affects Midway’s operations in the United States.
