Easter Bunny is Comin’ to DVD

Adults who grew up watching the various Rankin and Bass animated holiday specials on television will have another one to pass along to their children when Warner Home Video releases The Easter Bunny is Comin’ to Town, Deluxe Edition on Feb. 19. The 50-minute movie has been fully re-mastered for the DVD, which will feature the never-before-seen featurette The Easter Bunny is Comin’ to Town: The Magic of Stop Motion and other bonus features.

As he did in the Rankin and Bass favorites The Year Without Santa Claus and Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town, cimema legend Fred Astaire narrates this classic tale of an orphaned rabit named Sunny, who grows up to become the Easter Bunny and starts some of the Easter traditions practiced around the world.

DVD Extras include a collection of stop-motion animated short films for children’Breakfast of Magicians, Floating Through Daydream Garden and

Easter Bunny is Comin’ to Town: The Easter Express. The disc will carry a suggested retail price of $14.98.
